HAPPENINGS International cook-off a fund raiser collaboration to raise funds for needed programs run by the African Community Center July 31 2009 This event was a great success thank you for your participation and support contact brian@hfanic.org for any other information and donations regarding the African Community Center The EK foundation and the Paisley Co. Book Drive This initiative is to distribute as many books as possible to the less fortunate rural African elementary schools. Our drive starts in Zimbabwe, the Southern African country that is currently facing a huge economic crisis. Our first school is Rufaro primary school, the Book Drive ends next month and by then we will have hopefully collected enough books and learning material to send to the elementary school.
